Firefighters at the scene of a fire on the corner of Stuart St and Moray Place this morning.
Dunedin City Senior Station Offficer Stephen Clarke said crews were called to the Nude Skin and Beauty salon on Stuart St, up from the Octagon, just after 10am.
The premises were filled with smoke and a woman was checked on by St John ambulance staff after breathing in smoke.
The fire was believed to be caused by lint in the dryer.
