Indian guru Hari Prasadasji Swami is farewelled by members of the Dunedin Indian community at the marina yesterday.
Follower David Joshi, of Dunedin, said the guru arrived in Dunedin on Saturday and had visited the Dunedin Botanic Garden, Signal Hill and St Kilda Beach.
The guru, who had a "huge" following, enjoyed his time in Dunedin, Mr Joshi said.
He left Dunedin for Timaru in a helicopter yesterday and his Dunedin followers travelled to Timaru by car to continue interactions with him.
