Mr Milmine usually lit up his house for Christmas, but has done the same thing in winter this year, wanting to give young children the chance to see the lights.
He had used about half of his usual decorations for the winter display.
It had taken him a couple of days to set it up.
The extra lights were mostly LEDs so the impact on his power bill was minimal, he said.
