An agitated patient allegedly assaulted two security guards and smashed a computer at Dunedin Hospital before being arrested, police say.
Police helped bring the unruly 56-year-old man under control about 4.10pm on Tuesday, Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond, of Dunedin, said.
Hospital staff called police after the patient allegedly assaulted the security guards and broke a computer screen.
He was charged with two counts of common assault and one of resisting police. — APL
