About 20 protesters marched to the New Zealand Defence Force’s recruitment office in Cumberland St, Dunedin, yesterday.

Co-organiser Neave Ashton said they were protesting against the NZDF’s involvement in the Rim of the Pacific (Rimpac) exercise, the world's largest international maritime exercise, because of Israel’s participation in the exercise.

"We want our concern about Israel’s disregard for human rights in the Gaza conflict to be heard", Mr Ashton said.
