Otago people are being warned to secure their property following seven burglaries in the region during the weekend.
Four burglaries were reported in Dunedin, two in Oamaru and one in Lawrence between Friday and yesterday.
In most cases nothing was taken but an honesty box was stolen from an Oamaru Golf Club and a Suzuki motorised scooter was taken from a driveway in Dundas St, North Dunedin.
