Dunedin artist and art educator Pamela Brown (left) and Cadbury Social Club representative Jean-Anne Branks admire one of Mrs Brown's paintings.

It was one of two paintings given to Queen Mary Hospital by the Cadbury Social Club. The other was by Dunedin artist Ivan Baird.

Ms Branks said the paintings were given to the social club more than 20 years ago by former Cadbury managing director Paul Hudson.

''We're wrapping things up at the social club and giving our paintings to a good cause.''

Other organisations to receive paintings from the social club are the Otago Community Hospice and Little Sisters of the Poor.

The paintings were formally unveiled yesterday.
