Another Dunedin day, another stolen and torched car.
A stolen car was torched in Blackhead Rd last night and remained at the site today.
The car fire was added to a police investigation to a string of car fires.
Burnt out cars were found on Chisholm Park Golf Course and Kettle Park on the weekend.
A police spokeswoman said the cars were stolen before being set on fire.
Cars had also been set on fire in Abbotsford, Mosgiel and Tahuna Park this month
Police have yet to arrest anyone in relation to the fires.
Detective Sergeant David Nelson said police were taking the fires "extremely seriously'' and were following a positive line of inquiry.
Police wanted to speak to anyone who had witnessed cars speeding around the St Kilda area, particularly near Kettle Park, between 8pm and 10pm on Sunday.
