It seems Roger Waters left his Dunedin audience feeling satisfied on Tuesday night.

The Us + Them concert by one of the founding members of Pink Floyd seems to have left an overwhelmingly positive impression on the more than 15,000 fans who packed into the stadium.

On social media, concert-goers praised the 74-year-old's performance and the sound quality inside the roofed stadium.

In the past, the stadium has been criticised for the poor sound quality of some concerts.

Dunedin Venues Management marketing and communication manager Kim Barnes said she had received only positive feedback.

''I've personally received text messages from people, and just talking to people last night and the feedback left on our Facebook page has just been incredible.

''This was a bucket-list tick for so many people.''

Ms Barnes said the quality of concert all came down to Waters' production team.

''This was the creme de la creme and you really felt it in there.''

With five more big-name concerts still to come at the stadium, Waters' concert was a great way to start the year, she said.
