Auckland methodist minister Kenneth Smith has been further remanded to February 9 on a charge of indecently assaulting a 17-year-old boy at a motel.
The remand was granted by a registrar without Smith appearing before a judge in the Christchurch District Court today.
The case had been transferred from the Rotorua District Court to Christchurch a fortnight ago because Smith, a former minister at Waitakere and Auckland Synod superintendent, has moved to Christchurch.
