A person is seriously injured after being shot in an incident in Mangere Bridge in Auckland this morning.
Police were called to an incident on Coronation Road at 5.40am.
A spokeswoman said a person had been shot. They were taken to Auckland Hospital in a serious condition.
Police had not located the offender, the spokeswoman said.
