Nearly 900 claims have been made to the Earthquake Commission (EQC) following Monday's quake centred near Eketahuna.
EQC said a total of 893 claims had been received.
The most came from Palmerston North, with 268 claims, followed by Tararua District, with 184.
EQC said people who had suffered damage to their home, land or contents had three months to lodge a claim, with the last day for filing April 22.
