One person is dead and another seriously injured after a car and a truck collided near Hamilton today.
The crash happened about 12.15pm on State Highway 1 near Karapiro, about 30km southeast of Hamilton, Senior Sergeant Chris Money said.
Emergency services were at the scene of the crash and the police serious crash unit would be investigating.
