
The names of a father and son killed in a suspicious house fire in Auckland have been released by police.
Emergency services responded to the house fire on Murvale Dr, Bucklands Beach about 2.30am on October 2.
Detective Inspector Tofilau Faamanuia Va'aelua earlier confirmed the fire was being treated as a double homicide.
Police this afternoon released the names of the victims. They were Jung Sup Lee, 36, and Ha-il Lee, 11.
Va'aelua said anyone who lives in Bucklands Beach, Howick, Sunnyhills, Mellons Bay, Botany Downs, Highland Park who has any CCTV footage between the hours of 10pm on Wednesday, October 1 and 5am on Thursday, October 2 should get in touch.
Police are also wanting any dash cam or Go Pro footage from the same areas and times.
"We want to reiterate that no detail is too small, or irrelevant."
Police earlier said two further victims who were taken to hospital after the fire had both been discharged.
Va'aelua earlier said someone was responsible for the death of this father and son and called on the public for footage.
Va'aelua said it was an extremely traumatic time for the family involved.
"We are determined to provide them with answers and bring this to a close so they can try and move forward with their lives.
"It is imperative we find who is responsible for this."
