A man has died after being crushed under a truck in Puhoi north of Auckland.
Emergency services were called after reports of a truck hitting a fence on Fiddlers Hill Rd about 8.30am.
A Fire Service northern communications spokeswoman said a man was found dead at the scene.
Police said the dead man was crushed when the truck he was loading started to move.
The Department of Labour had been notified.
