Tawa resident Daryl was found and receiving medical attention, after being missing for over 24 hours.
Police had been concerned Daryl, who had last been seen leaving his home at 5.30am on Saturday in a grey Adidas hoodie, black trainers and navy or black trackpants.
Earlier police said his silver Toyota Markx saloon has been found.
