A suspended Auckland primary schoolteacher will fight multiple sex charges against a boy at the school.
Nicholas Raymond Baldwin, 61, faces 17 counts of indecent acts, sexual grooming and unlawful sexual connection with the boy aged between 11 and 13.
An order suppressing publication of his name was lifted in Auckland District Court earlier this month and Baldwin was due back in court for a depositions hearing in April.
Baldwin told the New Zealand Herald he was defending the charges because there was no substance to them.
The name of the school is suppressed.
