A teenage girl was raped in the Christchurch suburb of Redwood late on Monday night.
Police appealed to the public for information about the attack on the girl about 11pm in Ramore Reserve.
The incident was reported to police yesterday.
Detective Sergeant Richard Quested said the girl did not suffer serious injuries.
"We are anxious to hear from anyone in the vicinity of the reserve and Ramore Place who may have heard or seen anything unusual around 11pm on Monday," Mr Quested said.
