Invercargill Mayor Tim Shadbolt and his partner Asha Dutt have welcomed their new baby boy.
In a statement, the couple announced they were delighted with the arrival of their 3.8kg son, born at Southland Hospital in Invercargill by Caesarean section on June 7.
Mr Shadbolt (65) has three adult sons from two previous marriages.
