A Hastings mother claimed yesterday that she was filmed on the toilet by a hidden camera set up by a man she had photographed in the nude.
The man pleaded not guilty in Hastings District Court yesterday to illegally making an intimate recording, The New Zealand Herald reported. Both he and the woman have name suppression.
The woman told the court she met the man, also from Hastings, in her professional capacity as a photographer specialising in nudes.
She later discovered a hidden camera filming her on the toilet.
The man claims that the woman consented.
The trial continues today.
