A crash near Auckland has killed one woman and injured several others.
Police said a car carrying a number of occupants went off the road in Maraetai, east of Auckland, about 10.45pm yesterday.
Inspector Barry Smalley of police communications said it was not yet clear what caused the crash and staff would return to the scene during daylight hours.
