Protesters turn Octagon into an oil well

A range of local groups opposing oil drilling staged a performance in Dunedin's Octagon recently, attempting to dig for oil and gas.
 
The protest was in response to plans by Austrian-owned company OMV to explore for oil and gas in the Great South Basin.
