Recently the Opoho Guide Club held an outdoors day, where the girls worked on their knotting skills and used them to build a gadget.

The girls have been working hard on their exploring the outdoors, outdoor food feast and ropes'n'poles badges recently, and are loving their new skills.

This year, the girls have been bushwalking, practised their first aid skills, sold biscuits, and explored their community. They look forward to more outdoor adventures later in the year when they go camping!

The Opoho Guide Club meets on Monday nights from 6-7.30 PM at the Opoho Presbyterian church, and has groups for girls aged 5-12 years. Any enquiries can be sent to Kathy Sircombe at ksircombe@gmail.com, or enquire at https://www.girlguidingnz.org.nz/.
