In May 1986, students at Otago University were busy with paint and scrubbing brushes tidying up their flats for a competition to find the best frontage. After viewing the four finalists, the judges named 78 Albany St the winner. The students who live there (from left) Rachel Garden, David Chisnell, Martyn Lemberg, David Grayson and Alice Gallaway, spent two weeks tidying up their flat.
