The Free Speech Union’s kicking off its ‘Good Faith Yarns Tour’ in Queenstown this coming Tuesday night. Hosted by union council member Ani O’Brien, the Queenstown event’s themed ‘Growth, Infrastructure and Who Gets a Say’, where Queenstown mayor John Glover and Rewiring Aotearoa CEO Mike Casey — named Sustainability Leader of the Year at this year’s Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Awards — will tackle topics such as how to build infrastructure fast enough for a place that never stops growing and what the future of that infrastructure looks like. The event’s being held at Sherwood from 6.30-9pm; tickets cost $10 via Humanitix.
