The new market shows the depth of talent in the Teviot Valley and builds community, an organiser says.
Roxburgh creatives Fiona Ross and Helen Maisuria launched the monthly market in the grounds of the Teviot Union Church last month.
Mrs Ross said there was a diverse range of creative people in the area and it was a great place to showcase their wares.
However, there was more to it than just selling, she said.
"It’s about creating a community within the community."
Vendors ranged from bread makers to natural laundry products, possum skins to jewellery.
Mrs Maisuria said the market would continue year round, moving into the church hall during the winter.
The market is held on the third Saturday of each month.
