The inaugural Maniototo Community Cup was hotly contested on Saturday at Ranfurly, where the Gimmerburn team was the winner.

Eight teams from throughout Maniototo lined up for the Top Town-style event, held as part of Burn Radio's 20th anniversary celebrations.

The eight-person teams had to complete a host of activities, from memory games and giant jigsaw puzzles to sack races, icing a birthday cake and goal-shooting.

Lynda Van Kempen was there with her camera.
