New Zealand gained six new citizens last week, at a ceremony in Alexandra. Mrs Statham said it was nice to be an official Kiwi, as well as one at heart.
Mr Lepper told the new citizens New Zealanders had all come from somewhere else, ''the only difference is when and how far back, which is one of the reasons we welcome people so readily.''
