Cyclist seriously hurt in Oamaru

    A cyclist has been seriously injured after being hit by a car near Oamaru.

    Emergency services were called to Seven Mile Rd shortly after 7pm on Thursday.

    The man had been flown to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries, a police spokeswoman said.
