Drugs, weapons charges for Oamaru teen

A teenage girl from Oamaru has been arrested on a raft of charges including for drugs and weapons.

Acting Sergeant Gary Mahuika, of Oamaru, said a 16-year-old female was arrested at 10pm in Oamaru last night.

The charges are for possession of an offensive weapon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of utensils, receives stolen stolen property and being an unlicensed driver.

She is due in the Oamaru Youth Court, heard in Timaru, today.
