A second person has been charged in relation to the alleged ramming of a police car earlier this week.
The incident occurred at Campbell Park Estate in the Waitaki Valley early on Tuesday.
A 29-year-old Waimate woman and a 34-year-old Christchurch man fled on foot, and then allegedly stole a Toyota Hilux on State Highway 83.
They were found in Ferry Rd, where police stopped the vehicle using road spikes.
Sergeant Blair Wilkinson, of Oamaru, said the woman was facing three charges of burglary and one charge of unlawfully taking a motor vehicle.
She would appear in the Oamaru District Court next Wednesday.
The man, who faces 15 charges relating to events at Waimate, Timaru, Christchurch and Kurow, was scheduled to appear in the Dunedin District Court.
Sgt Wilkinson said police inquiries were ongoing to recover possible stolen property from the vehicles.
