One person has been transported to Oamaru Hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash on the Waitaki Bridge north of Oamaru this morning.
The crash occurred on the Glenavy side of the bridge at about 8.55am.
Constable Jay Morriss, of Oamaru, said a southbound vehicle crossed the centre line and collided with a vehicle that was travelling north.
The drivers were the sole occupants of both vehicles.
The northbound lane of the bridge, part of SH1, was closed for about 15 minutes while debris was cleared.
