Activities to keep young people entertained continue at the Youth Booth in Queenstown in July.
• A swim at Alpine Aqualand and a screening of a DVD of youth's choice is scheduled in the booth in Stanley St today between 1pm and 6pm, for • $10.
• Rock climbing trips will be held on July 16, 23 and 30 from 3pm to 6pm. Free open-house sessions run at the same time on week days during the month.
• T-shirt designs will be created on Monday from noon to 5.30pm for $10. The "Friday Feed" $2 dinner is set for July 20 and 27 from 3pm to 9pm.
• A photography workshop led by professional Dan Childs is on July 24 and 31 from 3.45pm to 5.30pm, for a small fee.
• A cooking session led by food technology teacher Helen Reid, of Southern Reap, will be held on July 26 from 3.45pm to 6pm, at $10 per session.
• Karting activities begin in Arrowtown on August 1 for eight weeks.
The Youth Booth is open for young people in year 7 and up.
