Destination Queenstown members have rejected a proposal to allow directors to be nominated from the floor at the annual meeting.
DQ had sought feedback on its new draft constitution from May 28. A resolution to update the organisation's rules was passed at last year's annual meeting.
Feedback had been collated into a final version of the proposed DQ rules, to be voted on at a special meeting on June 15. The submissions did not support a proposed change to the nominations for elections to the board of directors.
