Driver unhurt in crash

Wanaka police attended a one-vehicle accident on Gladstone Rd in Hawea Flat yesterday at 8.10am.

A car skidded off the road and flipped, but the 20-year-old female driver, of Hawea Flat, was uninjured.

Constable Peter Reid said the crash appeared to have been caused by a combination of bad weather, speed and a tyre puncture.

A Fulton Hogan digger parked on Brownston St was broken into and a stereo stolen overnight on Thursday.
