Good year for Millbrook continues

So far, 2010 has been good to Millbrook Resort, which has realised $9.8 million in new sales and resales of homes and sections, and this week received news a show home had won a regional Master Builder's House of the Year award.

One of the sales recorded in the past six months was of the latest neighbourhood release, the Coronet Square show home, built by Arrowtown-based company AJ Saville Builder Ltd.

The home was awarded a gold rating in the Southern Region division of the Master Builders James Hardie Show Home Award, and was also named overall category winner.

The win takes Saville to the national awards gala dinner in Auckland in November.

Christchurch firm Ingrid Geldof Design, which designed the kitchens, bathrooms and laundries in the Coronet Square homes, also picked up an award for its work.

Rachel Barnes, of IGD's Queenstown office, won a Regional Award for the master ensuite at the National Kitchen and Bathroom Associations awards ceremony in Queenstown on Saturday night.

The Coronet Square show home will remain open for viewings until the end of July when the new owner, an Australian buyer, receives the keys.
