The packages for the development, featuring residential accommodation and a new golf course, Coronet Nine, have been offered on a "first in, first served" basis to members of the Millbrook Country Club for a limited time, to put down a deposit on one of the 13 three and four-bedroom properties at Coronet Square, in the heart of the new development.
From Friday, remaining properties will then be offered for sale to the public.
Prices for the properties range from $2.270 million to $2.775 million depending on the size of land and building areas.
The homes will be encircled by the fairways and greens of the Coronet Nine course.
Millbrook West Property and Development Manager Ben O'Malley said pre-marketing of the Coronet Square properties and previous interest from Country Club members and others had resulted in a good list of registered parties before the release of prices.
"We're quietly confident that the strength of the Millbrook brand and the known quality of Millbrook properties and development generally will deliver us the results we want," Mr O'Malley said.
Previously, 25 Millbrook West land-only sites, released solely to Millbrook Country Club members, sold in December 2006 and July 2007.
Total sales came to just over $31 million, with the majority of sites bought by New Zealanders.
"There's a lot of talk . . . at the moment about the state of the market, but people do recognise and continue to recognise the value of Millbrook," he said.
The Coronet Square sites are all on sunny, elevated north-facing slopes, with panoramic views to Coronet Peak, Cecil Peak, Walter Peak, Bowen Peak, the Crown Range or the Remarkables.
The four most elevated homes will have guest suites above the garages, sleeping up to six.
Designer Haden Emslie has combined his talents and attention to detail with kitchen and bathroom designer Ingrid Geldof Design, one of New Zealand's most awarded design companies.
Features include double garaging, ski drying cupboards, fitted joinery, solid construction, energy efficiency and a comprehensive heating and water heating system.
Each house will be fitted out with the latest appliances and quality fittings, including a full home entertainment system.
A carefully considered landscape design by renowned designer Paddy Baxter features dry stacked stone walls, paving, block planting and an expansive infinity lawn running to the edges of the golf course.
More than 95% of Millbrook West will be open or green space, with walking trails connecting Queenstown and Arrowtown.
