Is this the moment pop superstar Taylor Swift arrived in Queenstown?
Amid rumours the chart-topping US performer is in New Zealand, a private jet touched down at Queenstown Airport this morning.
A woman, believed to be an incognito Swift, dressed in a long black jacket with a hood up, walked sideways down the stairs.
Intentionally turning away from ODT cameras as she walked down the stairs, she was quickly escorted to a waiting vehicle before a motorcade left the airport.
The Grammy Award winner - and good friend of New Zealand star Lorde - is rumoured to be shooting a new music video in the country.
Fans said they spotted her at Bethells Beach near Auckland on Tuesday, sparking a media frenzy.
The Associated Press reported she was absent from yesterday's American Music Awards because she was "filming a new music video overseas''.
The Sydney Morning Herald said Swift was due in Australia on Thursday to also shoot a video in the Blue Mountains.
A rep for Universal Music, Swift's record label, told the NZ Herald they would not comment on the rumours.
She was due to start the Australian leg of her 1989 World Tour in Sydney on Saturday.
