Queenstown Lakes ratepayers are now able to make submissions on the council's draft annual plan, which was accepted by the council last week.
The submission period will run until May 13.
In the plan, council chief executive Adam Feeley notes that the 2013-14 annual plan signifies a period of major change for the district and that the Government has indicated the need for it.
The plan also delivers an average nil rates increase, an improvement on the 10-year plan, which indicated 2.21% on average.
Other key aspects of the report are the ratepayer views on the convention centre, a review of the future of council camping grounds and the disestablishment of council organisations Lakes Leisure and Lakes Environmental.
Submitters are invited to discuss the plan with the council from 10am until 11am tomorrow, at the Queenstown council chamber and on Thursday, from 10am until 11am, at the Wanaka Service Centre.
