The initiative by the business association aimed to promote dining, bars and entertainment in Arrowtown by creating a "warm festive winter atmosphere" on Buckingham St every Thursday in August from 5pm, Mrs Patterson said.
Late trading operators, braziers, fairy lights, prize draws and live music on Buckingham Green were among the drawcards, especially for visitors seeking apres-ski enjoyment.
The Arrowtown Promotion and Business Association plans to change its name to the punchier Discover Arrowtown during its annual meeting in early August.
