Two days in February have been set for Christchurch property developer David Ian Henderson to defend three charges under the Financial Reporting Act.
Henderson appeared before Judge Raoul Neave at a status hearing in the Christchurch District Court yesterday for a date for a judge-alone trial to be set.
Defence counsel Austin Forbes QC said Henderson's earlier not guilty pleas still stood.
The charges alleged he failed to meet reporting deadlines relating to his company Property Ventures, for the year to March 31, last year.
Judge Neave remanded him at large for the hearing on February 3 and 4.
On Monday, Henderson avoided bankruptcy when his lawyer told the High Court at Christchurch sufficient money was available to pay a debt of $156,752 to Perpetual Trust, plus costs.
Perpetual had applied to the court to bankrupt Henderson and was joined by supporting creditor FM Custodians, which is owed $11 million, The Press reported.
