Volunteers set for church fair

From designer clothes to toys to water distillers - for the past two months up to 30 volunteers from the Wakatipu Community Church have been sorting through donated items for their forthcoming annual fair.

Church member Shirley Watson said that behind the scenes, people had been making jam and potting plants to sell.

Come fair day there would be an assortment of stalls and entertainment, including bouncy castles, silent auctions, classic cars and live music.

The fair will be held on Saturday, October 27, from 9am-3pm at the Lake Hayes Pavilion. Proceeds will go towards the church's work within the community.
