A person who died after driving into a house in Glenorchy, near Queenstown, may have suffered a heart attack, police say.
A police spokeswoman said an ambulance, the Fire Service and police were called to the Mull St property at 7.11am.
"It looks like the person who was driving the car has suffered a medical event,'' she said.
The driver was the only person in the car.
The spokeswoman could not provide the gender of the deceased, or say whether they lived in the house.
