Man collapses at QLDC building

Emergency services have been called to the Queenstown Lakes District Council building after a man collapsed this morning.

Councillor Val Miller, a doctor, attended to the man, who collapsed on the upper storey of the Gorge Rd building where the community and services committee meeting was being held.

Police and St John ambulance staff are at the scene.

The council has cancelled the meeting.
