Five people are injured, two seriously, after a crash involving at least two vehicles near Fairlie this morning.
A statement from police said emergency services were called to the crash at the intersection of Geraldine-Fairlie Highway (SH79) and Bracefield Rd at about 11.25am.
"Two people are said to be in serious condition, and three others have minor to moderate injuries," the statement said.
The highway is closed at the Bracefield Rd intersection while the Serious Crash Unit attend the scene.
