Judges in the Clutha Country photographic competition will be kept busy by the more than 550 entries from 60 keen snappers.
Clutha District Council communications co-ordinator Jamie Shaw said the response far greater than the council had envisaged.
The competition encouraged holidaymakers to take photographs of their experiences when staying at places around the district.
It had three themes - working in Clutha Country (featuring labour and machinery), living in Clutha Country (the environment, landscape) and playing in Clutha Country (action including walking and fishing).
Mr Shaw said the quality and variety of photographs received was outstanding.
