Police are investigating the alleged theft of a mobile phone and 12-speed bike at Tuapeka West on Monday night.
A mobile phone and other items were taken from an unlocked car, along with a 12-speed road bike from the same property, said Constable Chris Wakelin, of Balclutha.
He said the theft occurred early in the morning.
Inquires are continuing.
