A rescue helicopter has been sent tonight to Waihola after a car crashed into a ditch.
A Fire Service spokesman said the helicopter was on the scene on Stage Highway 1 near Waihola after the crash at 6.30pm.
Fire appliances from MIlton and Waihola were in attendance, and one lane of the road has been closed temporarily while emergency services worked at the scene.
