The Tui was presented last night, at the New Zealand Country Music Awards in Gore.
Bell's award will rest in a cabinet already filled with trophies. Last year, the former Gold Guitar supreme winner won Best Female Artist at the National Country Music Awards in Hamilton.
The 25-year-old, originally from Waimate, is now based in Australia. The New Zealand Country Music Awards are hosted in Gore as part of a week-long celebration of country music that continues with the Gold Guitar Awards next week. That event attracts more than 5000 fans annually.
The other finalists for Best Country Music Album were Marian Burns for The Paris Sessions and Wanaka's Anna van Riel for Whistle and Hum.
Tami Neilson and Delaney Davidson's Whiskey & Kisses was named Best Country Music Song.
