Police have released the name of a man who died while snorkelling in Bluff Harbour earlier this month.
He was Peter Nichol (57), of Alexandra.
Stuff reported he was found unresponsive in the water after snorkelling near Foreshore Rd on Saturday, December 10.
The death has been referred to the coroner.
